Deregistering a trust

Tell us about the trust you want to wind up and we will come back to you with the steps, the documents the Master will need, and a fixed fee. It takes about three minutes. Fields marked * are required; leave anything that doesn't apply blank.

Your information stays on your device. We store your answers securely when you send them to us. Until then, a draft stays on this device only. We handle it in confidence, in line with POPIA.

Section A

Your details

So we know who we are dealing with and how to come back to you.

Section B

The trust

Give us what you have. Leave blank anything you are not sure of, we can look it up.

Section C

What you want to do

Worth knowing. A trust is only deregistered once every asset has been distributed and the Master is satisfied the trust has nothing left to administer. If assets remain, they must be dealt with first, that is usually the longest part of the job.

Section D

Anything else

Section E · Optional

Supporting documents

If you have them to hand, attach the current Letters of Authority, the trust deed and any later amendments. It saves a round of emails, but send the form without them if you don't. Photos are fine: all four corners visible. JPG, PNG or PDF, max 10MB each.

Optional. You can still send without files and follow up later.

Review & send

Check the summary below, then download it or send it through. Upload the Letters of Authority and deed (if you have them) in the Supporting documents section above.
